DDG and Halle Bailey, the power couple that took the entertainment world by storm, have officially parted ways. The news broke in October 2024, when DDG took to Instagram to announce their amicable split. The two welcomed a child, Halo, in 2023, and despite their breakup, they've vowed to co-parent and remain best friends.

Halle Bailey broke her silence after the split, posting a photo dump on Instagram with a caption that read, "Life is beautiful". The post showed her spending quality time with her son, working out, and focusing on her music. Fans flooded the comments with support, praising her for living her best life.

DDG also opened up about the split, stating that he's not interested in dating anyone else unless he and Halle get back together. However, things took a turn when DDG bashed Halle Bailey, claiming he was being bullied behind closed doors and wasn't able to see his son.
DDG has publicly accused Halle Bailey of not allowing him to see their son, Halo. He expressed his frustration during a livestream, stating that he's been treated like a "secondary parent" and is only allowed minimal time with Halo. DDG claimed that if he wants to spend time with his son, he needs permission, and that even the nanny has spent more time with Halo than he has.
The situation has escalated, with DDG releasing a song titled "Don't Take My Son" where he raps about his struggles with co-parenting and not being able to see his son.
Halle Bailey has since announced a social media break, citing that she and Halo are sick.
It's worth noting that the two have been co-parenting since their split in October 2024, but it seems that their co-parenting relationship has become increasingly difficult.
